🍜 *Homemade Veg Noodles Recipe | Desi-Chinese Style Street Noodles*
Craving that street-style Indo-Chinese flavor at home? These Homemade Veg Noodles are packed with colorful vegetables, tossed in soy sauces, and stir-fried to perfection. A quick, satisfying meal perfect for lunch, dinner, or weekend cravings!
🛒 *Ingredients*
➡️ 2 packs of plain noodles (boiled and strained)
➡️ 1.5 tbsp oil (preferably sesame or vegetable oil)
➡️ 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
➡️ 1 inch ginger (finely chopped)
➡️ 1 green chili (slit, optional)
➡️ 1/4 cup sliced onions
➡️ 1/2 cup julienned carrots
➡️ 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
➡️ 1/4 cup sliced capsicum (green/red/yellow)
➡️ 2 tbsp soy sauce
➡️ 1 tsp vinegar
➡️ 1 tsp red chili sauce (optional for spice)
➡️ Salt to taste
➡️ Crushed black pepper to taste
➡️ Spring onion greens for garnish
👩🍳 *Instructions*
1. Boil the noodles as per packet instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
2. Heat oil in a wok or pan on high flame. Add garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté for a few seconds.
3. Add onions and stir-fry until translucent.
4. Add all the vegetables and cook on high heat for 2–3 minutes. Keep them slightly crunchy.
5. Add soy sauce, vinegar, red chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
6. Toss in the boiled noodles and stir-fry everything together for 2–3 minutes.
7. Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
