🥢🥬 *Veg Spring Rolls – Crispy, Tasty & Easy Starter* 🌶️🧄
A perfect evening snack or party appetizer that’s crunchy outside and loaded with flavorful veggies inside!
🧺 *Ingredients (Makes ~8 rolls):*
- Spring roll sheets (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup capsicum (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil (for stir-frying)
- Maida slurry (1 tbsp flour + 2 tbsp water) – to seal
🔪 *Instructions:*
1. *Stir-fry the filling:* Heat oil in a pan. Add cabbage, carrot, and capsicum. Stir-fry on high flame for 2–3 mins.
2. Add soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, and salt. Mix well. Let it cool.
3. *Prepare rolls:* Place a spoon of filling on one end of the sheet. Roll tightly, folding sides in. Seal edge with maida slurry.
4. *Fry:* Heat oil and deep fry rolls till golden brown on medium heat.
5. Serve hot with chili sauce or ketchup.
