🍵 *Masala Poha Recipe*
A light, quick, and flavorful Indian snack made with flattened rice, veggies, and spices. Masala Poha is a perfect evening snack with tea!
🛒 *Ingredients (Serves 2–3)*
➡️ 2 cups thick poha (flattened rice)
➡️ 2 tbsp oil
➡️ ½ tsp mustard seeds
➡️ 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
➡️ 1 green chili (chopped)
➡️ 1 small potato (finely chopped)
➡️ 1 medium tomato (chopped)
➡️ ½ tsp turmeric powder
➡️ ½ tsp red chili powder
➡️ Salt to taste
➡️ 8–10 curry leaves
➡️ Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
➡️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
➡️ 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
👩🍳 *Instructions*
➡️ Wash poha in a strainer under running water, drain and keep aside for 5 minutes.
➡️ Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
➡️ Add curry leaves, green chili, and onions. Sauté till onions turn soft.
➡️ Add chopped potatoes and cook until soft.
➡️ Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
➡️ Add soaked poha and mix gently.
➡️ Add roasted peanuts, lemon juice, and fresh coriander. Mix well.
➡️ Serve hot.
