Bangalore has some of the most delicious food to offer and we found ourselves right in the middle of this food hub. Most of the dishes that we tried were breakfast meals.
At Sidappa we discovered some of the softest with sagu, Chitranna and half dosa. This place surely felt like a canteen, but the food was nothing like the normal canteens we are used to. The food here is made with utmost care and it is absolutely worth it.
Our journey took us to some of the most popular joints in Bangalore serving scrumptious idlis and super crispy masala dosa. We got to taste the famous masala dosa at Vidhyarthi Bhawan. This place is known for making thick, soft yet crispy Dosas for almost 75 years! We also tried Puliyogare at the the Puliyogare point, along with some super rich and sweet pongal.
A trip to the south is never complete without a hot cup of filter coffee and Brahmin's Coffee Point serves some of the strongest coffee we have ever tasted. Our day was made even more special at Meghana Foods where we tried delicious Andhra style Biryani. We also tried a unique sandwich which is made from milk chocolate and cheese. An entire bar of chocolate is put between to slices of along with cheese and grilled. We have never tasted something so tasty. The combination of the chocolate and cheese is a must try!
Our journey ended with feasting like a King at MTR. The thali served here is good enough to keep you satisfied for the entire day. From Dosa, Puri and vada to different types of rice dishes, vegetables and dals and of course three kinds of desserts. It is the meal of a lifetime.
